I am having difficulty publishing a new item which is in the draft mode. Not happy with the issue because I tried many times to log out and log in. Erased catch memory from history and tried no use need help immediately, I am just fed up

I'm having the same issue. I am unable to save a new listing and getting the same message. I went through with a fine tooth comb to see if I have any issues in the form, but I can't see anything. Etsy, is there a current bug with the listing form?

I was finally able to save mine after removing punctuations from alt text.

I'd save it as a draft. Then try refreshing the page, log out and wait a minute or 2 then log back in. If you keep getting the error message then try again later. I just added a listing and it went fine. I used the new listing form.

I've been having this problem for a long time with Etsy's new listing tool.  It looks like my issue was fixed by Etsy after contacting them. This also means they are currently working on this issue.  Because it's a big problem, please reach out to Etsy and let them know it's happening while this program is a focus?  It's very concerning this will be the only way to list products when it has so many problems.  Etsy is known for rolling out problematic programs without ensuring they work properly.  Here's a current survey link for the program.  Be sure to include screen shots: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/6161668/Explore-Feedback-zyukn097

@TangerineTradingPost Your'e welcome.  It's probably because they are working on it to prepare for the rollout.  There are often errors where a system is being updated with changes.  If we help Etsy by notifying them of the errors it should help.

Not quite on the same theme, but I am now completely unable to list any new products or edit any existing listings using the old listing form, and it's only May 23.

Can you give me some feedback on what you told them and if they gave you any details on how what was wrong or how they fixed it? I cannot use the old form (I get the mail class error) or the new form (I get the generic contact support if it keeps happening error) and the gal I talked to was clearly new to the job, and thought I should be able to fix it from my end by using the old form - I had to send screen shots to prove I've tried it. I cannot create new listings at all and I am absolutely in a panic about it.

I have been having issues with this as well since using the new form.  I had to switch to the old form to get it to save.  Guess that won't be an option soon.  Not happy with this new form on many levels.

I signed out and signed back into ( to my Esty account) and it's working now, hopefully will continue until I get done!

I'm still getting this error sometimes, usually when editing an already-published listing. Today I tried to save changes after merely rearranging images for a published listing. I switched to the old form and made the changes and saved with no issue. How can Etsy move to the new form only, when this is still happening?!?! How will we ever get changes made and listings taken care of, if we can't revert to the old listing form when needed? (and yes I let them know in the survey recently)

I just had same problem renewing a sold-out listing. I put in qty of 1 and adjusted shipping price, and no-go on renew. Switch to old form - worked fine.

I am also having the same problem. Seems I can't edit and renew sold out listings at all with the new form. The old form is the only way to do it.

I had a similar problem a while ago and it was actually the shipping profiles.  Maybe check those?
