Help!

I was entering my tax info and accidentally said my legal name was my shop name

 now I don’t know how to tell Etsy no that’s not what I wanted to say- when I try to fix it, it says it’s still trying to confirm what I know is not right

 i really wish I could speak to someone in person.

 I am not tech savvy 

please a human who works at etsy please call or email me so we can set up a call

 if there’sa place that I can fix this, you can try to tell me in response to this message but I really need my hand to be held on this.

i have not sold anything for years but just did and sent it out and now am concerned that the person may cancel payment when they see my account was suspended.

Etsy staff / Help does not come here and won’t email you.  YOU have to ask for help through your Dashboard. Look for a chat bubble on the bottom left of the screen on the browser.

If the chat isn’t available then look for the Help tab on the left side.

I have been spending a lot of time with the “help” area but have not yet been helped!

 And lord knows I need a lot of help with this right now!!

it seems to all be robots  

no help for the tech unsavvy

Pick something that is close to what you need help with. Keep on clicking until it says

I STILL NEED HELP

at the bottom in an oval bar.

Click that, and they will give you help options.

Go to your Shop Manager 

On the left side drop down select Help

Select Contact Us 

Select Selling on Etsy

Select Finances and billing

Select U.S. Taxes

Scroll all the way down and select I Still Need Help

Good luck with this. Etsy support doesn’t have a very good reputation for being helpful.

Oh wow I will try that now! I didn’t realize so many people responded.  I didn’t scroll all the way down. I will try the thing for the live person because that’s what I really want ( and think I need!)
