Help with account

Hello. My name is Pavel. I am the owner of the store https://www.etsy.com/shop/SAKWorldCustom?ref=seller-platform-mcnav
I received a letter from Etsy support that my store was blocked due to Etsy's sanctions policy.
"Your Etsy account has been permanently suspended for police violence"
I filed an appeal on 01/21/2025 number 18818436, where I described the problem that, in my opinion, led to the erroneous blocking of my store. I live in Ukraine, under constant missile and bomb attacks from Russia. This is difficult in itself, but at the same time I believed in the future, I knew and hoped for my Etsy partner, who helped me and my family a lot at the beginning of the war and also supported me all this time. But I decided to move to another city, which was safer in my opinion. This is the city of Dnipro. In the store settings, the old residential address was set, which I did not have time to change due to the move. Also, in order to fulfill orders on time, I sent some orders from Zaporozhye, a city that is part of Ukraine and is not occupied. I believe that this led to the blocking of my store. I wrote an appeal, added documents that confirm my address and am waiting for this appeal to be considered. I fully support Etsy's policy. I did everything possible to make you change your decision about my store. This is very important to me, because I do not have another job and Etsy was my and my family's only source of income.
Please, consider my appeal and change your decision. If you need to provide something else, please write to me about it.
With respect and hope for understanding, Pavel. Thank you.

Re: Help with account

you do not have a store, even a closed one, attached to t his ID.

The forums are for shop owners only, and your tagline is 'reader'.

No one here can help you. We are other shop owners. Some areas of the world are under a 'no go' order due to warfare and other conditions. No one here can fix this for you.

I'm sorry for your situation, as you've described it. But you will need to continue contacting Etsy via the proper methods.

Re: Help with account

You have to contact etsy about this: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/6298920789271-How-to-File-an-Appeal-for-a-Permanently-Suspen...

Sounds like the shift in location is causing the problem. Or perhaps the "etsy partner"? Were you sharing a store with someone? Trying to change ownership?

For those reading this: I suspect instead of "police violence" the OP means "policy violation"

Re: Help with account

No, I did not share my shop with anyone. I just moved to another city and did not have time to notify Etsy about it for the reasons described. And I am not changing the owner. Etsy considers my previous region of residence to be occupied territory, and the shop was set up at this address. Zaporozhye. Ukraine.

Re: Help with account

Or perhaps the "etsy partner"?

I understood his mention of his Etsy partner to mean Etsy, whom he thought of as his partner who stood by him before during difficult times.

Re: Help with account

I contacted support, but there is no answer. I filed an appeal, according to the instructions, but there is no answer either.

Re: Help with account

@tfsjvsfx   If where you are in the Ukraine is under Russian control then you cannot have a shop.  This has happened to others.  If you have moved to a city under Ukrainian control then let Etsy know this.  It's a difficult situation for Etsy too as they have to follow sanction laws of the US.

Did you file a formal appeal and have you heard back at all?  If not you may need to appeal again to let Etsy know you moved to a Ukraine held city.   If Etsy still does not answer unfortunately you may not be able to have your shop/

@ModAngie   @ModKenneth   Would you be able to assist this person?  Thank you.

Re: Help with account

Thank you for your comment. I am in Dnipro. This city has never been occupied. Never. I moved there from Zaporozhye, which has also never been occupied. I wrote many letters in support of Etsy explaining this situation, I created an official petition 01/21/2025 number 18818436, where I described the situation. But unfortunately no one even considers my letters and petitions. I have no responses from Etsy, except for one automatically generated message. I provided Etsy with explanations that these areas are not under sanctions. I think the whole problem is that the criminal Putin included these areas in the constitution of Russia. And that's it. Does Etsy really use this and for them it is a document? I don't know what else I need to do to prove that I am on the territory of Ukraine. I have provided a bank statement and several payment receipts that confirm my new address. I cannot understand why this happened and no one is responding.
