I sell digital Real Estate Canva Templates since October 2021.
Yesterday, I got an email from Etsy's Trust and Safety saying that my account has been limited access because they detected suspicious activity and that I should reset my password. I reset my password and later got locked out of my account. When I contacted Etsy Support, they sent me another link to reset my password- which helped me log back in but get locked out again a couple of hours after. From yesterday til this morning, my Etsy shop was still open and working, just that I couldn't log onto that account.
This morning, I checked that my shop was still up & running, but the account was still locked. And then suddenly, when I refreshed my shop page, my shop was gone and it says "the page I'm looking for is not found." I then received an email to reset my Etsy password, which I did and was then able to log back into my Etsy account. However, my account no longer has any of the shop features or show that I have a shop.
I've been in contact with Etsy Support and they said Etsy's special department will get in touch with me within 24-48 hours. But has anyone ever experienced this or know what might be the reason for this?
Note: I did get a policy violation email in late May from Etsy saying that some of my products got deactivated, which wasn't true. When I contacted Etsy Support, they confirmed that the email was sent in error by automated systems. I don't think I violated any policy; my designs are all original- created by me and my shop has all the shop policies filled out.
I've been going through this for nearly a week now. I've had access on and off. My shop is still opened though. I've been waiting for this specialist to send me an email as well. I think you're going to wait longer than 24 - 48 hours.
@ruthkimwere you able to regain access to your shop? I'm also being repeatedly locked out and don't know why!
Hello, I am also having exactly the same issue!
I've managed to regain access a few times but since yesterday afternoon, I have been locked out again for the 5th time. I was told that my issue was being escalated to the Etsy Trust and Safety Team but haven't had any response since. My shop is still open thankfully but on the flip side I am still receiving orders and messages from customers I can't respond to.
Just wondering if any of you have been able to regain access or are still waiting?

Hi! I got locked out and the shop got taken down on Friday with Etsy support saying someone from Trust & Safety will reach out. They reached out that evening asking for info to verify my identify and by Saturday night, they restored the shop.
I do think they responded so quick in my case (compared to others experiencing this) because I contacted Etsy support a few days prior about an account issue so they were just responding to that thread. And that they said Etsy "deactivated my account in error," so there wasn't much to investigate in terms of why they had to close the shop.
Have any of you been able to regain access to your shops? Etsy has been locking me out on and off for the past week also? I don't understand what is going on!
Hi there, I'm the OP and I'm typing this from my second shop account.
Like I said in one of my earlier responses, I got back access to my shop last Saturday, but I got locked again just 2 days ago. Etsy didn't send me an email or anything and hasn't responded to my support request as of today.
I think this is a glitch or technical issue by Etsy's automated systems as some of the other shops are experiencing the same thing.
If you have more than one shop, you MUST declare it in your profile, announcement, or about section.

Yeah, I already declared it in both of my shops in my profiles a while back. Am I suppose to declare it in my shop announcements and about section as well?
@LauChereTemplates You only have to cross reference you other shop in one place - profile or about section.
