I have a listing with 50 variations and some of them don't have SKU's. However, when I leave them blank they will autofill with the closest SKU from above. That means that it automatically fills ALL the SKU'S!!! As you can imagine this is a huge mess. Has anyone else experienced this???
There was another post about this recently.
I would advise to fill out all the SKUs, even if you need to do something like "temp1" "temp2" etc. or else it's likely that your current SKUs will be copied in the fields where you didn't have them.
This issue has the potential to completely screw up inventory on multiple venues for shops that sync by SKU. I can't even think about it.
omg what a mess!
Same issue here.
Any SKU that you have not named will be auto filled with a duplicate - This has the potential to screw up any integration you have with a 3rd party company (POD).
Can [--] be entered so the field is not blank. It's probably coded to have an entry if SKUs vary is checked.
You can put any text in that field, so if there is no SKU then perhaps you need to put 0 or n/a. However I don't know if that would cause problems with an integrated production partner.
