I am having an issue for the last week or two where I can't use Google Chrome to search etsy. When I do this the following error pulls up:
www.etsy.com says Invalid response from the server
and it won't let me type anything. I have cleared cache, did the cookies. I have no idea what to do at this point.
Is your version of Chrome the most recent one?

Did you try a different browser?
I'm also having this problem. I did everything QueenBee did, I have the most recent version of Chrome. Nothing has helped. Very annoying since I'm trying to do keyword research for my shop. I can use Etsy search in other browsers without this problem, but the extension I want to use isn't available in other browsers.
Will be following this thread for more info...
I am having the same problem in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Finally got it to work in Firefox. I also cleared cache and cookies.
I am also often having this problem on Etsy.com using Chrome. One day it gives me this error, another day it is totally fine. Seems so random. I have tried running my CC Cleaner on my computer, clearing the cache and cookies, restarting my pc. Nothing seems to work. Very annoying when you are trying to do keyword research, as OrganizedStudentShop said already
Are you all using the same Chrome extension? Perhaps that's the issue? Maybe the extension is messing with the Etsy website. Just a thought.
I am using chrome, and have had no problems at all,
it could be clearing cache, it could be extensions, you may need to tidy up your PC,
it isn't etsy, or chrome thenselves, but something else thats messing it up
I'm also using Chrome, Windows 10 on a desktop computer. And haven't had this problem so far (knock on wood). It seems like I had it happen once a long time ago (I don't remember when).
I wonder if it has something to do with the cache, extensions, etc., as others have stated.
I hope it's now working better for the OP and others having trouble.

ETA: Sorry, forgot to mention; once a month I clean the C Drive and Temp Files. I don't know if this helps anything; just something I've been doing.
