Getting this message: "There was a problem saving your changes."
I've been chipping away at adding a sub-category to hundreds of listings. After doing over 100, today I tried to add a sub-category to several listings and got this message: "There was a problem saving your changes. Contact Etsy support."
The thing is, I can see that the changes are actually taking effect. However, on each listing I have to keep clicking on things like "are you sure you want to leave", which is furthering the torture of even having to update these hundreds of listings in the first place.
Unless it's fixed, I won't be updating these listings I guess.

Re: Getting this message: "There was a problem saving your changes."
If you get the error message, try changing the listing from "physical" to "digital", then back again.
The error message should disappear.
Just because the box says "changes may not be saved", they will save.
Very glitchy and terrible, but Etsy never gets changes right immediately. I ALWAYS get those messages.

Re: Getting this message: "There was a problem saving your changes."
I realized they were actually saved however I then had to click many more things such as wanting to leave the page even though it was saying my changes weren't saved. I wasn't going to keep doing all that for hundreds of listings. Anyway, the problem seems to be fixed now, hours later. But thanks for the input!

The problem seems to be fixed now, thankfully.
