Getting notifications but orders aren’t showing

So I’ve got 2 notifications of orders this morning but no emails and orders aren’t showing under orders or stats.  What’s going on??

Same here.  I just got one and went out to look, but no order.  I had two so far today as well.

Same here, a couple of days ago.  I heard a cha-ching but the sale never showed up.  I had an order the day before, so I thought it was a delayed notification.

Is it customers who have ordered before? I have customers who reorder and for some reason the messages sent to the customer  on the new order does not stay with the new order, but continues the thread on the very first order that customer has. It's confusing. When I go to the new order it looks like I have not sent them a message.  and when they reply it is on the first order message thread.

Same here. An order has come, I've received the email, the orange number of current new orders has increased, but the order doesn't appear on my dashboard, nor in 'new orders'.

 

Edited to add: ok, it's appeared now.
