GSTIN Verification Failed – Name Mismatch Error (Need Help)

Hi Etsy Community,

I'm having trouble verifying my GSTIN on my Etsy shop, and I need help understanding and resolving the issue.

When I try to enter my GSTIN (33CQAPK3019F1ZE), I get the following error:

> "Your name or GSTIN doesn’t match tax authorities’ records – try again. Attempts left today: 1"

My GSTIN is valid and active, and I have double-checked the spelling and format. Still, Etsy is not accepting it and is showing a mismatch error. My shop has been suspended because of this, and I cannot accept new orders.

I have only one attempt left for today, so I want to be careful before trying again.

Has anyone else faced this issue before?

What’s the solution if the GSTIN and name are correct but Etsy still shows an error?

Any help or suggestions from the community or moderators would be really appreciated.

Remove your personal information from this post immediately.  It is personal information which shouldn't be posted in the forums.  You need to make sure all your ID information matches on every document you submit to Etsy.

I wouldn't use up your last attempt until you have some real advice because then your shop will be suspended and you will have a whole set of other problems!

Have you written to Etsy?  Go to your Shop Manager and scroll down to Help and follow the prompts.
