Full size video

Hello, since using the “New” listings, I am unable to get a “Full” size video and there is No Crop Button. What am I missing? Is it me? Thank you, Karen.

Hi Karen, you are not missing anything. Unfortunately the video cropping feature is MISSING with the new listing form. Etsy has been aware of this since first introducing the new listing form; there used to be a little message that said something like "we're working on adding the crop feature to the new form but in the meantime just use the old form to crop videos". 

And here we are... like a year later... just days from rollout... and the video crop issue is now being ignored by etsy. They did not mention it at all in their recent status update. The "we're working on it" blurb is gone.

Thank you for the information. I am also not finding the crop video option in the 'new' listing format (working from a laptop, I don't edit from a phone). 08/20/24

i discovered recently that the CROP VIDEO feature is now available on the app. just not on the website

The last time i asked chat about this, they suggested cropping the video on my phone before listing! So much for the new form being a time saver, lol. As per usual with Etsy, it's one step forward two steps back.

I do all my video uploading on the Etsy Seller app.  I've not had a problem and I think you can crop (though I don't know for sure as I do all my editing on my phone beforehand).

Just learned Adobe Express has an online video cropper. Great for those of us who work on desktops. Need account to download, but free. Here's link:
