I do not have my Star Seller badge for the month of June because Etsy does not recognize FedEx Cross Border. I had a couple international orders shipped on time via FedEx Cross Border with tracking numbers and Etsy documents it as invalid. This has caused me to lose my Star Seller opportunity. Etsy Support says there is nothing they can do to correct this situation. They just send me links to post in the Community and on how to enter in tracking information. Seems unfair to international sellers to be penalized for this. Please fix this issue.
Bummer! But hold onto your hat - Etsy doesn't recognise Royal Mail tracking either!!!
PS: Add your shop location or you will not show up in UK only searches:

Thanks for the tip!
Oops! That should say you wouldn't show up in any US only searches!
Someone at Etsy support can correct the situation, because I know of plenty who have magically had their badges reinstated within hours, they sure are not doing this themselves. Yet to find out how though.
There are always things someone in etsy can do to change things. They may not be in the specific department you are talking to so they say they can't and are correct. And they are under no obligation to send the complaint to the department that can fix it. This issue falls squarely on upper management. But the myth that etsy can't correct things that are wrong is just that, a myth.
I've exhausted all my options with Etsy. They pretty much said wait for next month and to not use FedEx Cross Border to ship internationally. FedEx seems like such a huge carrier company to not be able to use...
I've had questions about this as well. I utilize a printer for posters who ships items internationally and provides me with a FedEx Cross Border number - which is not valid for the Etsy Tracking number field when selecting "FedEx" for the carrier.
I've tried using "Other" and then typing "FedEx Cross Border" into the Shipping carrier field, and adding the tracking number. That lets me submit, but when I go back and look at the order in the Completed list, it's as if there is no tracking. The tracking number isn't clickable. Opening the order shows "no tracking":
Shipping with FedEx Cross Border
#PR...001
Status No tracking
Tracking #PR...001
So it sort of works, but I then follow up with the customer and send them a full FedEx Cross Border tracking link in a message so they can visit the URL themselves (eg., https://fcbtracking.fedex.com/?MyFICNumber=PRIxxxxxx ).
I don't know if this is affecting my Star Seller rating (I do many more domestic orders than international) but it would be nice if FedEx Cross Border were a recognized shipping option. I'd hate to lose a Star Seller rating for this.
Unfortunately you are in the US where tracking numbers are needed.
Is the Cross Border an internal FedEx tracking number which can be used only within their system? Have they allowed the software Etsy uses to track this number? If they haven't then Etsy cannot track.
You probaby need to ask Etsy about it.
