The items cannot be removed from your shop if the message is from a scammer. They do not have the ability to do so.
If the sale starts out as legit but the payment processor detects fraud, they stop the sale, remove the order, and place the item back up in your shop. There is no renewal as the item is replaced.
If you are having to renew the item, I suggest contacting Etsy and asking them what is going on. It has always been that a fraudulent order that is removed, the item is placed back in the shop.
You re receiving no emails on Etsy but messages. Make sure to get the terminology right to avoid confusion. An message from Etsy would appear in the Etsy folder. However Etsy does not message about orders. They send an email only when the sale is legit to your email address on file.
The order will appear under order with the orange dot. If you do not see an orange dot there is no order. Also orders appear as a number on the shop home page.
You have been getting scam messages. Just spam them.
