False notification showing sales

Can ETSY tell me why I am getting notification showing sales on home page yet when I click on there is nothing,

This has been happening for nearly 2 months, it shows 1, 2 or even 3 sales and when I calm down from the excitement of a sale and click on the notification NOTHING!

Why is this happening and how can it be fixed before I have heart failure from actually earning a living..

They could be sales for which Etsy could not complete processing the payment.

Etsy isn't here to tell you anything. Forums is peer support from other sellers. You can contact Etsy directly if you want an answer from them. Dashboard, Community & Help, Contact Us.

I did think that it could be problem with payments or scamming and have contacted Etsy, no reply! many times I have asked for help with orders, buyer's etc over the years and they do not reply or you receive an go to forum. That's cheap labour for Etsy.

I think it's been since the app updated?    I've seen that those notifications are delayed - or just don't seem to be as in synch as the emails or dashboard are.   

Honestly, I'm not relying on the app much anymore - I'll send a quick message if I'm not at a real keyboard to let the buyer know when I'll be back in touch and the rest I do from a browser with the dashboard since that seems to be the most current when refreshed.

There is no buyer's to reply to as no sales..

@MayenneTreasures    Are you experiencing this using an Etsy app or via browser (it makes a difference as to possible causes and potential solutions, otherwise we have to guess).
