It seems like everything I find useful on Etsy is broken:
1. I have not gotten any email notifications of sales since Sept. 2022
2. Sort function under completed orders has not been fixed. This has been ongoing since March of this year. This was very useful in pulling up orders that were in transit so I could be proactive with my buyers.
3. Sort function in Stats under orders is not working. Every week I would do a custom search for sales for the week and sort by orders. This made it much easier to know what I needed to order to replace my inventory. It did not work on Sunday and after a long conversation with support I was told they would report it. It is now Thurs and problem still exists.
4. The search function is terrible. I went to look for a vintage item last night and gave up and went to eBay and found pages of what I wanted without have to scroll through pages of unrelated items.
5. Visits from the app are down 30% which has an impact on sales. I don't use the app but I know that a lot of my buyers do. I don't know what the issue is but since the new app was instituted visits are down.
Fees were raised and I am forced into OSA which I never wanted or needed. Don't know how much longer I can deal with this site.

I've had no problems with sorting functions etc, but I agree the search function is appalling, returns irrelevant results and is very off-putting to potential buyers.
6. Trust
5. the buyers app hasn't been changed. Only the sellers app is new. So there is no correlation.
Here is a new one, cusotmer who used to sell here back in 2018, logged onto etsy to contact me with a new order.
I paraphrased this, This site is too hard to navigate on now. No wonder you can't sell on here anymore. Took me 20 minutes to figure out how to message and favorite the shop.
He went on with his frustration, I can also add, customer sent me a message about her order being delayed with ground service and there was no tracking number posted to her message. I tried to go back to it by click on the customer number, the order info was there,,.having no tracking posted in the message is BS .
I agree with the search. I was bombarded with prescription drugs from Eastern European countries while looking for printmaking supplies. My jaw was on the floor as I scrolled through. ALSO... if you scroll down to the bottom of this page, their tag line will make you chuckle...
I have a friend who also doesn't receive email notifications of sales any more. It's not all that hard to click into your shop and check for sales and messages, but that doesn't explain why this gadget is broken for some people. Very frustrating when it's a tool that should work!
Welcome to Etsy, where the only thing you can depend on is constant glitches.
Much of this is 100% intentional-- it's their idea of how to prioritize sales that put $ in their pockets-- not that help you sell your items. Sadly, many of my suppliers are now on here, but short of searching for the shop by name I cannot even find their stuff. God forbid I need something new. Getting found outside advertising is pretty much impossible now-- and Etsy gets a VERY high percent of your advertised item.
