I have tried several times now to list my personal artwork, and every time I do it gets removed instantly. I keep being told my listings are "potentially counterfeit or unauthorized items" but they are MY artwork and they in no way violate any of Etsy's policies. The only thing I can think of is that it might be because I used premium images from Canva for my mockups (they're wall art, so I used Canva's frame mockups to illustrate how they'd look displayed on a wall). Could this be why my listings keep getting removed? I know other sellers also use Canva to create their mockups, and I paid for the commercial license to use these images, so I don't understand why this keeps happening to me. I've emailed customer support several times and it's been weeks and I haven't heard anything back. I'm losing my mind. Can anyone provide a little insight? I really want to start selling but if I have this issue again I've been warned that my account could be suspended so I don't want to make any more listings until I know what the problem is. Thanks!
What sort of images are in the artwork? What sort of tags are you using?
They might provide some clue as to whether you might be accidentally using words that trigger automatic removal such as trademarked words etc.
This may be because you're using words that are encrypted into the bots, such as things that are infringing others' work.
An example would be using movie names, names like "smiley" are also trademarked & getting removed. Everything in your description, listing, or tags should not include anything that is copyrighted or a trademark infringement to another brand/store.
Hope this helps!
I seem to recall months back "lightroom" sellers having removal issues. I don't remember how it shook out but I seem to remember the seller who started the thread finally got their stuff relisted. Check your keywords against the government TESS trademark lookup site and make sure nothing is TMed. (Google it) use basic word search then hit submit query.
Make sure none of your listings uses a designer name out of context like naming something Dior or Vogue or Chanel or any other designer name.
I think the term Lightroom is TMed. .. but not sure if what you sell is covered by their TM.
I remember those threads, too, although I can't say that I understood everything that was going on because that's just not my expertise. I seem to recall some question over whether Adobe's TOU allowed you to sell your own Lightroom presets? Or something like that?
I believe that "lightroom" is a trademark of Adobe.
I think the Adobe one , they were selling filter or effects for lightroom. I don't remember if Adobe let them or not. That is what the OP is selling. They look like they are also selling backgrounds for web pages. Etsy may not understand what they are selling , or since she is using Canva images, that might not be allowed because Canva is free for personal use.
It is the word light room preset which is owned by Adobe and you are not in compliance with Canva terms here: https://www.canva.com/help/
Other than the responses mentioned in this post, there are other posts regarding Canva that you may want to check out. I think they contacted Canva directly. Sorry I can't be of more help. Best of luck finding a solution.
You have multiple trademarks in your listing, but are not following the usage guidelines that the trademark owners have supplied.
You can sell products like this, but you must follow the trademark owner's guidelines throughout.
While I admit that I don't understand Canva or even exactly what mock up even means, why can't you just list a piece of your artwork laying flat ? You have finished pieces to sell, right?
Their work is basically software..photosets and filters to use for photos for websites and such. Downloadable stuff to make you photos look better.
