For the second time now, Etsy will not sync to Square. I have an in person event tomorrow and have no way of selling my merchandise in a way that keeps my inventory updated. I attempted to work with the support team but they were unable to help. The troubleshooting they provided didn't make any difference, and they were unable to give any kind of estimated timeline of when this issue would be resolved. Through my own research I've found that this issue has been a problem for several years. How is it possible that Etsy is working with Square for several years on a sync issue and there is no update or timeline on a fix?
I've found a third party service that will sync between multiple sites including other online sales platforms. However, it costs a minimum of $35 per month to run this. I believe Etsy should be crediting my account for that amount per month until this is fixed. I'd like to hear back from Etsy but they won't respond to my chat anymore. Bummer.
Hi, I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. I've seen similar Threads from others. I do some local Shows, and Deactivate items which go to the Shows. If they don't sell, I Reactivate them when I come back.
