I am writing here because I no longer understand how to resolve my issue, nor am I sure if it will be resolved at all. I updated my bank account, which was verified, and then I waited 5 days for the block to be lifted and the money to be transferred to my bank account. About 11 days have passed, and the money has not arrived. I contacted customer support via chat, and they informed me that their team would get in touch with me. Two days later, I received an automated message stating, "Since you have contacted us, you might have already resolved your issue," and my ticket was promptly closed. I contacted support again and received a response that their team would contact me, only to receive the same message once more. I know that I should not open a new ticket but continue in the existing one, yet it gets closed every time. In total, I have been struggling for 22 days now, and I still cannot get my issue resolved.
P.S. I have used this bank account before, and Etsy successfully transferred money to it. Also, my credit card has not expired, as I know that sometimes this can prevent payments from being processed.
All you can do is reply to 1 email "I still need help" or they will keep closing multiple tickets.
Have you tried requesting a call back?
Yeah, I tried, they keep telling me the team will contact me. It's kind of a vicious cycle.
Only etsy can help you on this.. if you can use chat-- see if you can get a call back to discuss with a real human.
So sorry this is happening to you. I would be frantic after 22 days.
did you get the small deposit, and enter the amount back into etsy? if not, then you have not been verified
Have you got the correct tax information, for the correct country of your bank account?
Yes, I entered, and even sent the bank statement. The verification checkbox above the bank account is there.
