Etsy, why such cruelty?

My cha-ching has gone off 3 times, about an hour apart, for the same sale!

Did the sale actually go through 3 times? I had one like that yesterday. Same exact order, 3 times. The customer didn't even know it had happened until I asked her about it.

My cha-chinger has been on the fritz for months. No sound. I get a cha-ching silent pop up notification for sales but also for a fav or a review. You see Cha-ching and think great! A sale! But no..wait...

@hopeandjoystudios  same with me - my cha-ching is now a kind of 'bla-bloop-bee' and can be a sale, a convo, or a fave, or a discount offer...

Do you have the old app and new one? I travel with iPad and phone and get all excited when get two cha-chings and of course it’s only one order.

I get the two cha-chings too but I'm used to that. I'm not sure how old it is. I downloaded it a few months ago.

I have only Apple products  ( that are fairly new ones) and I have not gotten a cha-ching sound consistently in months.. Everything is all updated. I get notification thru my email that does have a sound. The only time I MIGHT get a cha-ching sound is if my iPhone and iPad are next to each other. Otherwise it shows up on my screens but no sound. it is very annoying really-- the only fun in the app is that sound! lol

@SpottedOctopusShop  Your Shop is awesome! Agree, that is pretty odd. I've never heard the Cha ching (I don't use the App). But 2 nights ago, an odd thing happened (which I've not seen before). There was an Order, but above my Shop Icon it said "4" (it sort of flashed briefly). When I clicked into my Shop Manager/Dashboard, there was not a "4"; rather a "1" by "Orders and Shipping". As I said, I've not experienced this before, just an oddity.

My Cha Ching has been weird for months for my vintage store. Re-installed app, re-booted phone, left foot in, left foot out.

Sometimes I get multiple cha chings for a sale. 

I never thought of it as a form of cruelty though.
