Etsy to instagram connection not working

I am unable to post my etsy listings to instagram.

I have cleared my cookies and caches.

I have updated to the latest instagram and etsy versions.

I have tried different browsers.

I have no add ons in my browsers.

What else can I do? Any suggestions?

What method have you been using to post listings to Instagram? There are no clickable links in Instagram posts, unless you go through the trouble to get shoppable tabs.  I've always just posted a photo with a description and hashtags.  The only live link can be in your profile.

I don't think the older app had the option, and right now, the blue Seller app just has a direct share option (direct to an individual, not to post on your Insta page).

I always went (on my computer) to Marketing - Social media - then copy the text - then post to instagram - when I hear my phone ding I go to instagram on my phone and complete the posting.

That is the process that is not working. 

Are you saying I could just post a photo from my phone, add a description, and hashtags? And if I do that, and anybody is interested in an item will just have to go to my shop. Am I understanding this correctly?

I don't need a clickable link in my instagram posts.
