So I went to update my tax info in the middle of November per etsys request. I hadn’t updated my name since I got married 2 years ago on my shop due to not selling much until this year.
Well my ID was expired so they denied my request and I had to wait 2 weeks for my replacement ID. I submitted all the documents over a week ago now and still haven’t gotten and approval or denial on my name change. The first few tries I did in November with my expired ID were denied they responded within hours. I opened a support ticket last Friday and they said a higher up would review my documents.
They’ve been holding all my funds for over a month now. I’m a star seller and get about 1 sale a day and can’t even use my money
Has anyone else had Etsy take this long to update your name?
