Hi everyone,
This is more of an outburst than a request for help since Etsy's support was unable to help me. In the last few days Etsy has deactivated 3 of my listings telling me that I have violated Etsy's Creativity Standards, doing a bit of research I discovered that this can happen when an image is found on other websites, the fact is that the only website on which find the image it is mine since I produce rugs that are one of a kind pieces and all handmade.
I also found myself with the Star Seller badge taken away... does anyone have any solutions to this? Help!
Cemile

Why would you not use the same name for your website as your marketplace shop? this is probably why they removed them thinking it was someone else.
Contact Etsy and show them the address and contact details from your website so they can match it to your account on Etsy
Because my website is in Italian for my local market, while Etsy is for my international market, I decided to divide my shops so it seemed logical to me.
Then you will have to prove to Etsy that is your website. Should be easy to do as the addresses would match.
Reply to the email you received for the violations and keep sending a reply on the same email with the information.
The AI searches for the same images online, looks like they assumed it was another company
@CemileRugs Regardless of where I am selling, I always use the same business name. So @CryzalisMasksUK may be correct in that this is why Etsy thought it was not you.
Make sure those photos aren't on Aliexpress or Temu (or other wholesale sites). Those are the ones Etsy usually finds, then automatically deactivate the same products on Etsy.
It is not possible to respond directly to the email received, trying to contact Etsy support they tell you that the checking system is automatic and that they cannot change their choices, but this is fine with me, the problem is that it could happen again in the future.
I looked at one rug and it is listed as vintage, and I do see them listed elsewhere online which isn't really a problem for vintage except that you say you make them yourself and that they are one of a kind. I'm not sure what is going on but maybe Etsy isn't the right venue or your shop information isn't right. Either way, Etsy is correct to pause your business while you straighten things out. The problem is you saying they are both handmade and one of a kind but also vintage and also them being available with *different* pictures elsewhere than the ones you are using.
Most of my rugs are made by me, I have some vintage rugs that I sell declaring it, I don't see what the problem is.
