I am writing because two of my listings has just been removed again due to "Etsy's Creative Standards". This included one of my oldest and best-selling listings, and I strongly believe the removal is a mistake caused by Etsy's automated system/bot/AI.
What frustrates me most is that I already faced the exact same issue about a year ago. At that time, my listings were also removed many times by mistake (Etsy admitted that) — even the same listing being taken down again and again! I had to deal with many listings like that.
I thought Etsy had improved their system since then, but unfortunately the same problem is beginning to happen again now. It is really exhausting if such mistakes keep repeating continuously.
Just to clarify again:
- The items are designed and manufactured by BEANDAIKON, fully created by me and my team. We never resell, redesign, or source them from outside.
- All the photos were taken by us years ago and are original. We never use stock images or photos from anyone else. In fact, our photos are often stolen by other sellers on Amazon, Temu and other marketplaces.
Selling on Etsy for almost 5 years. I used to do many things to protect my shop, but everything got worse since the automated system appeared. Having a listing wrongly removed not only causes huge losses for my business but also creates fear that my shop might be suspended or closed unfairly.
I really hope Etsy can review this function carefully and provide a proper solution, instead of just automated responses and closing the support ticket without any human review.
Does anyone experience the same situation as I do now? This repeated mistake is extremely discouraging, especially as it damages my business during important seasons.
