Etsy removed my listing for not meeting Etsy's creativity standards
Hi,
Etsy recently removed my best selling listing for not meeting "Etsy's Creativity Standards". The removed listing is a set of 44 metal Solomon's Pentacle coins that I create entirely by myself. I've had the listing on my shop for well over a year and I have taken the photos for the listing myself.
I make all of the Solomon's Pentacle coins myself, starting with raw ingots of a zinc alloy all the way to completed sets of 44 coins that I package and sell on Etsy entirely by myself. I can provide any proof needed to assure Etsy that I produce them.
I have already tried making a support ticket and contacting Etsy through Live Chat, neither were helpful and the support ticket was just automatically closed.
Is there anyway this decision can be reverted? I believe the decision to remove my listing was an error or mistake.
Thank you,
Kyle

It sounds like your photos may have been stolen on another site. And Etsy labels you guilty until proven innocent. If you do a Reverse Google Search and find the photos, you must file DMCA Takedowns. I'm really sorry this is happening to you and others.

Did you make any type of metaphysical claim in the description?

None whatsoever, the only description is what is in the box and the size of the coins.

You need to be persistent with Etsy. Keep opening tickets or replying to open ones. Request a call back. It took me a month of this to finally get my listing reinstated.

@Tergora DON'T keep opening new tickets. Every time you do that, Etsy closes the original and puts you back in the queue. Keep replying to the one open ticket until you get to a real person who can help. Support is mostly outsourced and sometimes they work from a script and have no idea. Good luck

My experience has been that sometimes you can’t reply to the same ticket as they will close it and you have no choice but to start a new ticket.

All of the books I use for information, designs, or include for the customer are completely free of copyright and are in the public domain.
