Etsy, please, please fix Calculated Shipping to include Ground Advantage

It's been what, 2 years?, since GA was added by the Post Office. Our having to check boxes for First Class and Parcel Select, neither of which exist as stand-alone options anymore, in order for GA to activate when using Calculated Shipping is ridiculous. It has never even been acknowledged that a fix is coming.

Etsy, can you find some time to address this, which has been broken for way too long, before playing with things like our processing times, which were working just fine? CS was one of the best tools ever offered to sellers, and now it's being ignored by lack of updates.

I doubt Etsy cares if updated or not and if they did, they would have updated calculated shipping with Ground Advantage came out in July 2023 just like eBay, Pirate Ship and other sites did.

And it's so confusing to a lot of sellers having to check BOTH 1st class package and Parcel Select to get Ground Advantage to work properly.

Plus both 1st class and Parcel Select show "NO insurance" included which further confuses sellers even though Ground Advantage has $100 insurance just like Priority.

What's even crazier Etsy added Ground Advantage to "fixed shipping" but they can't get around to add it to calculated shipping.

Someone posted yesterday about this and that Etsy was aware and they were "working on it"........ very doubtful IMO!

The seller didn't know you had to enable Parcel Select to get GA to show up on packages 1 lb or more.

This issue is obviously not at the top of Etsy's to-do list!  They are much more interested in testing seller response to not including Ground Advantage.

I tried to do calculated shipping because I can't offer many of my items with shipping under $6, and it made me go priority mail for things over 1 pound. So I have to select first class and parcel select to get ground advantage to show up?

Yes! But, but GA still won't show up for you to select - it happens behind the scenes, so to speak. GA will show up on your label, however, and you can ship GA over #1 as long as you have both FC and PS selected. The buyer only sees FC (I believe) but is charged GA rates.

Not my experience at all. I set all listings to Custom and the Ground Advantage choice is there. Don't have to buy labels from Etsy, either.

I'm not here to beat a dead horse over and over again.

I'm here attempting to get Etsy to respond to a Technical Issue that has been present for close to 2 years. If it's not going to be fixed, say so and why.

CS had to have taken a huge amount of programing time to set up properly initially. I just can't understand why they won't fix it.

@PWOriginals  Etsy does not perform any coding. They have outside contracted coding companies who do that. I would think Etsy could direct the company to fix it!
