Etsy not processing shipping labels

I've tried to buy 3 different postage labels to complete the orders 3 times today. I've used different computers (so I know it isn't my device). It just keeps saying 0/3 labels are ready to print then it says 'We were unable to process 3 of your labels. Please try re-purchasing those labels.'

Perhaps there's a fault with Etsy currently?

Make sure you aren't being charged repeatedly.  Of course a clue would be that the orders are moved to "completed".  At some point, you need to look into a back-up plan for buying postage, when Etsy glitches like this.  You can buy labels for a similar discount Etsy offers on Paypal, PirateShip, and other sites.  Then copy/paste the tracking into the order when you mark as Completed.

I am a tad worried about that which is why I'm going to stop trying for a few hours in the hope it fixes. Oh okay, I didn't realise there were other options that Etsy could still track towards Star Seller, I will have a look - thank you

Me too - I'm in the UK. I'm going to buy a label from Royal Mail online, but I am a little concerned that Etsy will charge me for the two labels for my order, neither of which I got emails about or was able to print.

I`m having the same problem too! Im in the Uk so will have to do it through Royal Mail but it will annoyingly bring my star seller score down!

I think it may be a Royal Mail issue. I have just tried to use Click and Drop and it saying they cannot accept payments at the moment. Down Detector has had a spike in reports.

Yup uk too, happens a lot with etsy, guessing it because there tinkering due to the new update starting tomorrow, hopefully it will resolve itself then

Also having the same problem. I managed to buy 1 label ok, now nothing. Tried a different order and it said address was invalid - checked it on Royal Mail and it is fine.

I'm also having trouble proessing an order on click & drop - wonder if it's an issue with RM that is effecting Etsy too?

Definitely sounds like a wider issue (at least for here in the UK)... hope I'm not charged for all my attempts as that would be like £7 worth and I'm already a low priced store! Fingers crossed (for us all)

Any site that may have problems, you can search for "Is XXX down?" and get the Downdetector website.  I just Googled "Is Royal Mail down" and it looks like there are current issues -

This problem was reported in the forums since last Thursday (7/28) in the U.S.  Some people said using a different browser from Firefox would work. I have mailed two packages so far typing the addresses myself and paying cash. You can request a refund from Etsy for labels that printed wrong. It is probably not your computer settings!

I really think that was a different issue - Sellers could purchase labels, but trying to print with Firefox browsers made them outsized and unusable.

Today - it appears to be a Royal Mail issue.

As others have said, it's always a good idea to have a backup plan so you don't have to pay the retail price at the post office. Pirate Ship has the same rates as Etsy and some priority rates are cheaper than Etsy. They don't offer labels for letters or flats, though.
