Etsy has started putting VAT on my UK orders even though i am in the UK .

My last 3 orders to customers in the UK have had VAT put on them even though i am well below the threshold. I e-mailed ETSY and after many attempts to get an answer have all failed. all i get is a standardised e-mail  saying goods sent outside the UK incur VAT, but these items were sent to UK addresses. Can somebody help me, it's deterred UK customers from buying from me.

This has happened to quite a few sellers recently ( search forum for threads on this)

In the main it seems to be happening to sellers who originally set up their shop in a different country and later moved to the UK. The system is picking up some non_UK info from somewhere in the account.
Does this apply to you?

Oh crumbs, yes it is definitely charging tax to me and I am in the UK!
