This can't be happening every time, it becomes highly counter-productive and frustrating. Etsy bots erroneously deactivated (again) three listings of mine. I just edited their quantities and then suddenly I couldn't find the listings online !
It's FOOD for isopods for God shake NOT living animals.
In the listing there is a field called Category. There I have selected: Pet Supplies, Pet Feeding, Pet Feeders & Waterers.
Bots cannot read that?
This is so frustrating, it has happened more than 5 times.
On eBay I never faced such things. At least when placing an order (or editing one) my order does not suddenly disappear (and most of all erroneously ! ).
Do they get reactivated when a human looks at the listing? Even if they do, how frustrating to deal with it every time a listing is renewed or adjusted.
@JackisJustVintage exactly! So so frustrating, facing the same issue again and again. And after months nothing has changed to the better.
They are reactivated when a human looks into it, but I need to create a ticket; post here the same things again and again (because if I leave it only to the ticket itself, nothing will change). So so frustrating!
Buyer contacted me yesterday wanting to buy from those listings and those listings have suddenly vanished for them. Do I need now to also spend my time explaining to the buyer? And what should I say to them? (rhetorical)....
Etsy do something. This is suffering
Well, for this one customer, at least, take the sale off-Etsy so you don't lose them. Since Etsy has deactivated it, they can't accuse you of fee avoidance since they are telling you it can't be listed.
Answer whatever questions your customer has, and send your customer a Paypal invoice.
When Etsy gets around to fixing their site, they won't lose such sales.
It is odd to me that they deactivate those listings but not Amazon mystery boxes. Pathetic.
