Etsy app says Pending Approval its been a long time now

Hey everyone,

I’ve been waiting for my Etsy listing to be approved for what feels like forever! It’s showing as “Pending Approval” in the app, and I’ve had no updates for a while now. I understand there’s a review process, but I’m starting to get a bit anxious because it’s been longer than expected.

Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Should I be concerned if it’s taking too long? Any tips on what to do in this situation would be appreciated!

Instantaneous. There is no review process (unless something fundamental has changed in the Etsy process). Check your account in a web browser.

Etsy does not "approve" listings. Just go ahead and list.

that has nothing to do with creating a listing in your shop. Read this: https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025870013-What-is-Etsy-s-API?segment=selling

That link does not seem to have anything to do with listings.

Steps to Authenticate:
Step 1: Go to Etsy Developer Portal and sign in.
Step 2: Create an application on Etsy’s Developer portal. You will get an `API key` and `Shared Secret`.
Step 3: Use OAuth 2.0 to authenticate. Etsy provides a detailed guide on how to do this: Etsy OAuth Authentication Guide.

I have created the app and after approval of this app i am able to use the APIs for bulk listing of products

Approval could take a very long time. In the meantime just list some items manually.

Any updates on API key approval? I am listing manually at the moment. Once approved my local AI assistant will be able to rotate images to their correct orientation and complete listings. My job will be to take pictures and speak aloud to my AI assistant. I will also verify image rotation is correct with 90, 180 and 270 rotation option buttons connected to each image. My AI assistant then deletes local images once upload is complete.

AI already does most of the heavy lifting, but I still need to fill out forms manually.
