So long story short I am relaunching some printer ad ran products that already have tons of search data prior. And it stated there was 0 and when I stopped using it over a month ago had over 30. So I am expected to pay again for you to use the terms I already turned off that I deemed as not relevant? I turned it back on last night and they ARE using the terms I already turned off and only those so far. And I am being charged for clicks when I already turned them off month ago. Best part they are showing up as turned off.... yet still running lol.... so is this a glitch or you guys arnt holding us turning off search terms as relevant. I have wanted to attach a photo of some that I turned off months ago and still searching after I relaunched the ad. And best part poped up as a DO NOT US term.... please explain.
You can't turn off "search terms". It's up to the potential buyer to enter what they want in search.
You can "turn off" terms that you don't think are relevant within the Etsy ads system. At least some of us can/could -- it may be a test.
I don't think it helps much, though. There are countless other irrelevant terms that can be used instead.
I have the option to "turn off" search terms but there is a note that says this doesn't really turn them off but is part of a beta program.
"It's up to the potential buyer to enter what they want in search" haha
