Etsy ads overspending

I have my Etsy ad spend set to $5 a ay but the last couple of says it has spent $10, it's not even lunch time today and it's already at $6.

Is anyone else having this issue? I raised it with support but so far I've just have someone send me some links to telling me about sales which isn't what I asked as it's just the spend being higher than the maximum set that is the issue.

there have been a few posts about this, people are turning them off, and logging a ticket with etsy

"We're looking into the reports in this thread. To best assist in this situation, can you please send in a screenshot where you're seeing an Ad spend over your limit? If you've got an open Support ticket on this issue, just attach it there and mention 'Requested by Larissa' in the body of the email. "

Turn them off while Etsy investigates the issue.
