Etsy Stats not showing

Is anyone having issues with their stats on Dashboard. Its shows visits and views but no information. I noticed last week sellers were having issues with same thing.

Stats have been messed up for over a year now. Not sure if all the tinkering has screwed it up but you cannot rely on what Etsy is showing.

Personally, this frustrates me because stats should be an integral component when running a business. Just a quick example, my conversion rate for the past 7 days is up 239% from this time last year. I think it's because they are not posting the actual visits but the sales are there, can't hide those.

I tested this out yesterday. by noon I had zero visits so I opened up Etsy in private browsing and clicked on a few of my listings in search (which took a while before I stumbled on them). None showed as visited or viewed by the end of the day. Those should have counted as "visits" in stats. 

Stats must not be a priority for Etsy right now.

@WPshoppe: "... I opened up Etsy in private browsing ..." Most systems that count visits use IP addresses and that is still reported by the browser even in private / incognito mode. So Etsy still knew that it was you.

Privacy mode really only hides what you were doing from other users of your device not from the sites you visited.

Unless you use a VPN (and many sites block known VPN addresses) your IP address, browser, browser's settings, operating system, and even your internet searches are still provided even in incognito mode. Basically, you get security and privacy on your device only.
