Etsy Site Glitches

On my laptop (not the app): When I go to look at an item for sale, I'm now not seeing any description, where it ships from, and the shipping fee. The area is completely blank. I tried getting help through Etsy chat, but she told me to delete all my cookies. I don't want to do that, because I have a number of things 'saved' that will disappear.

Anyone know of a way to fix this without creating a major amount of work for myself with all my other saved info in my laptop? 

Also when I am browsing things every several pages the page completely freezes without warning. I have tried 2 different browsers and the site behaves the same way.

I don't have this problem with any other e-commerce sites I shop at. Any ideas on how to fix that?

You're most likely now in the test that has been going on for over a month.  The description and shipping are under the reviews.  Did you scroll down far enough when trying to find them?

As to the first part of what you describe, Etsy has moved the descriptions to the very bottom left, way under the reviews, buyer pics, etc.

And it might even be hidden behind a "Click for more..." or similar.

If this is what you are seeing, then it means you are in this particular test.

It stinks to high heaven and the forum is full of complaints about it.

Thank you. This was not happening to me a few days ago even though you say the test has been going on for a month.

You're not kidding it's awful. 

The second problem also severely slows things down.

If the objective is to tick off buyers so they leave the site and go elsewhere, mission accomplished.

The test comes and goes, but has been going on for some time now.

Some days I might be in it and you aren't, and the next week you are and I'm not.

Yes, they do seem determined to drive the buyers away with these shenanigans.

I just saw it tonight.  was searching from my other shop,  I get Bad Requested out of this one when I search.  Anyways, the whole right side of the listing was blank.  if I hadn't read here the description was somewhere down the page I would not have had a clue that it was anywhere to be found.  It was even below the crappy review photos under the reviews.  there is absolutely no logic for this one.

I don't see it in this shop.  this shop also doesn't have the hideous orange and purple banner at the top.

yes.  it's user based.  I should have said I don't see it from this shop,  when I'm in my other shop I see it everywhere.  I like not seeing ugly banner and I like seeing descriptions.

@BluefishBohemianyou could possibly be in other test at the same time.  I'm in the one with the description below the reviews and also the one where etsy shortens your title in search.  Wherever the first coma is in my titles etsy shortens my title there in search.  2 days ago I was in a test that etsy chose which photo to use.  They chose to use one of my really close up photos as the photo in search.  It looked ridiculous.  Thankfully I'm not in that test now.  I really wish etsy would leave our listings alone.
