Etsy Plus and the video of my featured item

I pay for Etsy plus to have the featured items and since the video symbol has been added. When the item is clicked on it cuts the heads off the angels. It's been goin since the beginning but I thought somehow it would be fixed by now but it isnt. So when someone clicks on the featured video on the homepage it cuts off the heads of the dolls. None of the videos on here show up like they do on my computer but I just kept hoping they would improve because it does not look like it does on my computer. They show up very dark. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to disable the videos on the first page of the shop? I think the videos help when someone goes to the listings, but the headless dolls on the front page just look so bad to me. Can I choose   no videos on the store front page?

when you download the video, there are three choices for ratio, I use the square and then crop the photo. I take a much bigger video than I need so it will fit once cropped. Have you tried something like that? Or is this a new problem?

I did try that but it did not resolve my headless angel issue. Hopefully technical will look into it. Thank you so much for your suggestion.

Hi 2TrickPony; I am a bit clueless technically, ashamedly I havent been proactive in trying to fix it all, its not a new problem its happened from the beginning. I just thought that was the best that Etsy could do. The videos do help they just dont look so good.  I will certainly try what you say. Thank you for your suggestion!

@DivineAngelShop  I think it's happening because you shoot your videos in portrait mode (holding your phone vertically) rather than in landscape mode (holding your phone horizontally). Etsy wants to make a square out of your rectangle and, of course, Etsy does a bad job of cropping.

I, however, think that both your photos and videos do a great job of showing your art. (I am viewing on a desktop computer).  I did not immediately notice the chopped off heads, I was looking at the details of your work.

Thank you so much Smudgeplant for your response. I will try shooting in landscape to see if that helps.  I just saw this response. I don't get on Etsy when I am in the sewing room. I appreciate the heads up!
