Etsy Listing Descriptions/Titles not saving (eventhough Etsy says it's saved)

It's 2025 and my Listing descriptions (and sometimes Title) seem to dissappear/or revert back even after they have been saved.
I looked these issues up and it seems like Etsy has not resolved (or even considered) this issue that was happening to people back in 2023. Really frustrating when you have to rewrite and copy & paste descriptions sometimes multiples times on a listing, though it should be saved. I thought it was my mistake for a while, then realized I was doing everything correct, and it's Etsy's fail. Seems like it should be a simple fix- this is super frustrating and time consuming!! Just fix the glitch so we can list without issues! Thanks.

in regards to listing details, not being saved from a copied listing…

… the fix is to change your photos FIRST! Then your details and titles will be saved. If you change your title OR details first, and then change the photos, everything will revert to the original listing.

Thank you for that workaround!  I use copy and edit or edit and renew for most of my listings. It explains why it is only my titles not being saved (I thought I was repeatedly forgetting to click save) It's because I change titles first then photos, which explains why anything after photos is saved correctly.

this is happening to me too!  I save the drafts and started new ones and the titles were fine.  When I scrolled down the list after doing 7 all had reverted to draft-copy title. what a PITA!

Etsy won't fix because it happens to so few people. Trying to find a needle in a haystack is very difficult and this is what these kind of issues tend to be.

I use Edge browser and seldom have a problem in doing new or copied listings.  If you are using the app, you might want to switch to browser.  Make sure your operating system is clean.  Some browsers are more problematic than others.  Some have reported ipad issues.   You may just have to try different browsers to see if one works better for you than another.
