Etsy Deactivating Listings AGAIN!

After having issues in the summer with Etsy flagging my listings for creativity standards, it seems they're back at it again. Not sure id someone is reporting my listings or it is bots.

I do have issues with TEMU and Aliexpress using my photos and I do spend time reporting these why I see them. It's so frustrating that Etsy say they'll come back to you in 1-2 days, but it's now been 5 days and no response.

I've checked the listing they have removed and all is fine with it. I have even offered to prove its my design by providing drawings and workshop invoices.

How long will this continue? As we go into the busiest time of the year I can't risk having my best listings removed all the time

Re: Etsy Deactivating Listings AGAIN!

I am in the same boat. One of my oldest and bestselling listings was deactivated this morning and marked as "Violated Etsy's Creativity Standards." This listing is my original design, entirely handcrafted by me with beading materials such as beads and beading findings, offered in various lengths with multiple options for the focal bead.

The email I received did not specify the exact reason for the deactivation. When I reached out to Etsy chat support, I was informed that the listing is suspected of not being handmade. I’m genuinely baffled by this, as I have always adhered to Etsy’s guidelines for handmade items.

I even offered to provide detailed photos of the process to demonstrate the handmade nature of this specific necklace, but I was advised to simply create a new listing instead, with no further recourse available.

This necklace has been renewed 227 times and has received great feedback from buyers. To have it deactivated without an opportunity to reinstate it feels disheartening.

I requested a reevaluation of the listing in question sent to Etsy support email, as I firmly believe it was deactivated in error and said that I am more than willing to provide any evidence necessary to demonstrate the handmade craftsmanship behind it, but received a canned response email that once deactivated for that reason, it won't be reinstated.

Probably want to check Temu. They probably stole your design and flagging you on Etsy. You should seek legal recourseif this is the case.

Drop shippers and Chinese sellers have priority. Watching a seller selling fake italian bracelets knocking it out the ball park with 700+ sales in one week. While us other sellers salivate for even one sale. And in your situation it cant sale if it is deactivated! Hope they get you fixed soon.

Re: Etsy Deactivating Listings AGAIN!

Thank you everyone for you feedback. It's some saving grace to know I'm not alone. In the past when I've opened a forum about this issue someone from Etsy's community team have escalated it. They must be flooded with issues from other sellers at this time of year. It is a real shame
