I'm trying to verify my information for Plaid.
I've had the shop for years and Etsy wants me to reverify my information.
I have an LLC.
I've uploaded my drivers license and it says it's verified. HOWEVER, the continue box isn't letting me go to the next step in confirming my data.
(It says it wants a government ID in the shop manager process, but it's already verified according to the about/finance information.)
This is very confusing when two parts of the same process aren't in agreement.
Okay - I made some lemon poppy seed muffins, then came back to this problem.
I changed my phone number to not include the '1' in front of US phone numbers.
I reuploaded my drivers license without dragging and dropping it into the box. I used the part where I went to computer file using the Etsy process.
It now says that I'm all good! Yah!!!!!

I'm at step 3 of five, so when the option to continue is greyed out. But when I click the thing with the exclamation point (goverment ID), it's already accepted on Etsy. This is so confusing. LOL
Verifying with Plaid and verifying your ID are 2 separate things. Plaid is for your bank account.
Okay, I thought verifying your ID and bank account was the same process?
No, not at all.
Idk, I'm just trying to figure this out the best way I can. I have no idea why the detail page says my government ID says uploaded and all is good, but the verify 'my legal information' my shop widget is telling me that the government ID ISN"T verified.
I have six days to figure it out or they will close my shop.
"my shop widget is telling me..."
Widget as in the seller app? If so I would suggest trying on a pc or laptop as the app is hopelessly lacking and many things just can't be done on the app.
It's the yellow bar at the top of my shop manager. I don't know what it's called. I'm using my laptop.
