Either my creations or photos of them are horrifically bad, or there something wrong with Etsy Ads.
I did experience the issue the last couple of days when all stats weren't updating for 14-16 hours, and while that appears to have changed, my ad stats are still nil clicks. Budget is $6 on 5 items. I don't want to advertise the whole shop because I don't have a big budget and it gets spread too thinly.
Has anyone else's Etsy Ad clicks been at 0 for a few days?
I don’t use Etsy ads because they are a waste of money. Etsy offsite ads work much better
Glad you've found what works for you.
Ugh, that is the worst feeling! Putting money into ads and seeing a big '0' in the clicks column is so frustrating. And with all the stats glitches lately, it's hard to know what's real.
From what I've learned, the problem is most likely the budget getting spread too thin. You're right, you have a $6/day budget, but because it's split between 5 items, you're only "bidding" about a dollar on each one. It's like you're in a big auction, but everyone else has a much louder voice, so your ad just never gets its turn to be shown.
Something that makes a huge difference is to do the opposite of what feels right: instead of advertising more items, advertise fewer.
Try pausing your current campaign and picking just one of your products—whichever one you feel is your absolute best seller or has the best photos. Then, create a new campaign and put the entire $6 budget on just that single item.
It sounds crazy, but it means that for that one amazing product, you're now bidding with your full budget, which gives you a much, much better chance of actually getting seen on the first page and getting those clicks.
It might not work overnight, but it's a strategy that's helped a lot of sellers break the "zero click" curse. Really hope it helps you too. Hang in there!
@NicheFinanceTools that does make sense, thank you. I'll give this a go!
@MoodyLoch Mine are the same! I’ve noted the advice you were given above so I’ll give that a go too. Good luck!
@ZoeElizabethUK yeah it's weird, I haven't seen this before when I ran them. Hope @NicheFinanceTools advice works for you!
MoodyLoch, I am not a person who wears jewelry, but just had to say. I love your designs, really love them.
@LoveMakingHats thank you, that's really kind of you to say!
