Error message and grayed out sections

Hello everyone, 

My name is Donna and I've got a new shop, I created two sections, I was able to populate one section with half of my listings/products, but the other section is grayed out when I select it to add listings to it. And I get a red error message banner on top of the screen telling me "Uh-oh! Something went wrong, try again!" I have logged out of my shop, cleared my browser history, rebooted my computer and still I am having the same issue. I think it's one of Etsy's gliches/bugs, anyone else having this problem? Any advice?

Sorry that is happening. If you check the forum, Etsy is just loaded with so many glitches; from not being able to list, renew, change prices, etc. It's getting ridiculous. Hang in there. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. But it's the weekend, and I won't count on anything until Monday.

Thanks UniqueGiftOrnaments for the quick reply! Yes, I am beginning to see that too...wowza! All those glitches/bugs are not good advertising/marketing for ETSY now is it? Or are they just so big now it's not a concern for them..? I hope all of it gets fixed soon. Thanks again for the advice and insight, have a great weekend!

This has been going on for two days that I know of and it's very annoying.  Wonder if anyone at Etsy even knows all the issues they are having...I even want to deactivate a couple of listings to change verbiage and get the same message...can't even get listings to get a star to highlight the item.......Think I am going to cancel my sale and try again later on that issue also....wish me luck in even accomplishing that

I started a chat for help with these issues & told her this forum was being flooded with shops with the same issues.  She said she will look into it.  That was Saturday morning.  Nothing yet!  Still having the same problems!!  I WAS able to deactivate an ACTIVE listing & reactivate same listing but I can't change my featured listings - add or subtract.  I didn't try activating a NEW listing.....some shops are having issues with that as well.  A website as huge as Etsy is, they SHOULD have 24 hour IT support to fix problems like these!  DISAPPOINTING but they don't seem to be shy about raising their fees......

I tried to list five new things yesterday and got the "Oops, Something went wrong!  Try again" message.  I tried again and again and again---same thing. 

I opened a live chat and was told that that the problem was beyond her and that she'd have the tech team email me.  No email yet, and I still can't publish the new listings.  It's very frustrating because business has been very slow lately and I really need to get stuff listed that I know will sell.

And for that all our fees go up....Getting to a little like FLEABAY!  It is very frustrating as sitting here trying to get items listed and relisted and  unable to make anything work correctly.

If anyone else is having trouble listing new items, try opening the Preview for the listing and then hit Publish.  This worked for me.
