What is happening rn. I have been trying to contact Etsy support for over a month now. They are just not responding!!
So after 5 years of being a successful etsy shop owner with large traffic and daily orders, my shop has been suspended. How you ask? I finally pulled the plug and signed up for an LLC and I updated my tax information with my new EIN number. Welp, I got an error message and that’s when i realized I didn’t change my Entity name to my LLC name so i tried to change it. I got an error message and it saved the incorrect information (the first attempt). I waited the next day to try to update it again with the correct information.. error message.
I waited 2 weeks.. tried again.. error message and account suspended. I have been messaging etsy seller support this entire time which they once acknowledged that this is an issue they are working on behind the scenes for a while.
Welp when i asked if they can just allow me to go back to my personal SS and continue selling .. no response. My etsy has been suspended for weeks now. I have no idea what to do, I am seeing this is something that has been happening to a lot of sellers. I opened up a Shopify with all my new LLC information, no problem. But I had a ton of customers thru etsy.. should i just open another shop? I don’t even know what to do at this point, this whole this is mentally draining.
