I keep getting the following errors when trying to upload a video, either with my phone or from my laptop, whether I'm trying to create a new listing on my phone through the Etsy seller app or from my computer:
From my phone, I use the "Upload From Mobile" option and the error message tells me the entire file is empty. The file is NOT empty, the video exists, and I've tried and received this error message when trying to do this with multiple videos from my android phone.
From my laptop, I get a red box that says, "Hm, we're having trouble uploading that file. Try again, and if this keeps happening, contact Etsy support".
I have not yet reached out to the support team, as I haven't uploaded new listings to the site in a while and was unsure how long these issues have been going on. I see, based on other forum posts, it's been going on for several months. I was hoping the tech support team would fix any bugs on their side and the feature would begin working again. I've verified that all my videos meet the qualifications and requirements for uploading to Etsy and I never used to have any issues. What has changed and what can I do about it? If this isn't resolved, I will no longer use a platform that will lower the visibility of my listings, simply because their site isn't functioning, and I can't put videos on my listings.
***Update*** I just sent an email to the support team. I hope I get some answers and will share any I get with the forum here.
