Email verification Suspended account

Hi I am just wondering if anyone else is receiving these messages:

A notification has been sent to your e-mail address. The notification may come to you in spam, so please check it. If you are having any difficulties, you can contact this chat or the support team on the checkout page. Sincerely, Etsy.

Came in the messages center and is relentless in wanting verification except I am not receiving the email they are talking about.

Sounds like a scam.

Your account is NOT suspended.
You should be able to see your shop is open.
If it was suspended you'd have a yellow banner. 

Etsy would NEVER send you a message wanting your email for verifying anything.

Etsy has your email, they don't need it.

If anything needs to be verified on your account, it will be on YOUR dashboard or finance page.

ANY legit message from Etsy will be in the FROM ETSY section on your message page.
If it's NOT there, it's not from Etsy.
Easy peasy to tell if legit or not and there's no question it's a scam if a message is NOT there in that section.
It doesn't matter what that message says or if it says it's from Etsy support/staff/stuff. It's NOT from Etsy.

These are scammers wanting your email so they can send you to a FAKE Etsy site to enter your bank/cc info so they can STEAL YOUR money.

Under Shop Manager, Messages, there is now a "From Etsy" section.  If the message is NOT in that section, then it didn't really come from Etsy.  If it didn't really come from Etsy, mark it as spam and ignore it.

Hover over the email address to see if it is from Etsy, I have had so many spam emails sent by "Etsy" in my other shop wanting information.

@KatsCraftyKornerShop  I don't think Etsy uses the word "Sincerely"
