Today I was working on a listing and clicked the button to publish it (using desktop Mac). I received the message about the $0.20 charge and OKed it. Then I got a message asking whether I wanted to leave the page, and I declined because I wanted to go back and check something. I checked it and then tried to leave the page again. I received a notification that I had unsaved changes that would be lost if I didn't save the listing, so I hit publish again just in case. There was no notification that I was being charged, however, when I went back to my listings, there were two separate listings with two separate listing numbers. Im not worried about the $0.20 really, but having two separate identical listings is a problem for a lot of reasons. I have over 500 listings, so duplicates aren't necessarily obvious. Has anyone else had this happen?

Which format are you using? In the new template, once you hit publish, it shows the 20 cents for the listing. If you got that box the listing was published. Usually once published one is returned to the listings page. I've not had it stay on the same page.
If I go back in and don't make changes I can simply leave.
It does sound like a glitch. I don't know if contacting Etsy would help, They might be able to see what happened. They might refund the .20 or not. You can try that.
If it doesn't work, simply delete the duplicate. They should have different listing numbers in the URL. If they don't then you will want to contact Etsy first before touching it.
I don't find a duplicate in your shop. I looked at the two for today and they are different colors
Yes, it has happened occasionally in my shop as well… not sure why… but usually it goes through properly.
