I currently have the old app (orange) and the new app (blue) loaded on my phone (as I prefer the old, but know it's going away so have the blue ready to go), so I'm getting double notifications. Any chance you also have both?
Yes I got 3 in a row this morning and was a bit excited! Alas..one from each app and one "ghost cha-ching"..or 2 from the new app and one from the old . I just added the new app a day or 2 ago.
I am currently getting 3 cha chings, one from the general app, one from the old seller app and one from the new seller app. Before the new app I used to get two. I must get around to removing the redundant app.
Don't get me wrong, I love the cha-chings, they affirm that what I do is worth doing. Bring'em on! I love it even more when they occur while I am out and about, it makes people curious (especially three in a row like that) and they often ask what it is all about, and that can lead to even more cha-chings. *wink
Ya the new app is getting me 3 Cha-chings per sale as well as 1 push notification that says that there was a sale and 2 that say nothing. Same thing with reviews.
I'm getting double on the new blue app too. The old notification used to tell me what item I sold, this one annoyingly doesn't. Not sure what the ghost kerching is for.
@BootifulLabels yes, I have removed the old one. I even removed the new one and re-download it. I got 8 sales in 45 min last night and I got 24 notifications and cha chings going off like a slot machine. LOL.
I get 3 cha chings per sale - I have both apps installed at the moment as I really don't like the new one! The kids get SO excited:) It was a bit embarrassing when I forgot to turn it off at school parents evening though!!!
Lol..I will be lying in bed in the dark scrolling Instagram or Pinterest or something before going to sleep and it will ChaCHING! So loud it startles me and I toss my phone in the air. Blaaah!
I only have the new app and get about one and a half chings(not really, I have it play a little song instead). Its the new app. It plays part of it and then the whole thing.
I have both the blue and orange seller apps but only the orange one cha-chings. I just started typing that I don't understand why the blue one doesn't cha-ching but I just figured it out. I had notifications for that app turned on in the app itself but turned off in my iPhone app settings. I expect I'll get double cha-chings now that I've fixed it. lol
I think the double on the new app is one for the sale and one for the sale email. If it bugs you that much, shut off your notifications for that app or get rid of the app.
