Hi All, 

I have a real issue with my store at the moment. I am unable to send messages on Etsy. I was doing well to earn my 'Star Seller' badge, but now i am not able to reply to customers within 24 hours. Luckily for my customers, i was able to email them to help them, but i am still paying the price for it. 

I have emailed support but i have not had a single reply yet, and its been a week.  I have also requested a call back twice. Only once did they actually call me. They couldnt help and said they would forward the issue to someone who can. That was 5 days ago, and i still haven't heard from any one. 

Any suggestions on what i can do to get the help i need?

You do, but not everybody else does.

Some are annoyed by having to read and perhaps reply to and delete yet another message and email.

Especially when they have to reply as a seller.

As shared, Etsy does mute messages when there are too many sent out.  But, this may not be that issue?  There have been reports in the forums lately of this happening to sellers who shared they haven't been sending messages. So there may be a glitch?   If these thank you messages were all sent within a close amount of time together that might be the reason.  Etsy's support has never been great.  It can take a few weeks to receive a email reply.  This is probably because Etsy has literally millions of sellers but only about 1,400 employees (most of which are not customer service representatives).  And it's likely they don't work weekends. I know this doesn't help with the situation.  I'm sharing these numbers  because it assists me with preventing additional frustration when I put things into perspective. I hope it can do the same for you.  I'm sorry to hear this happened.

Its a shame they do not have more people working in customer services. 

I currently have 5 messages that i can not reply to, that will all go against me as a seller. 

I hope that when they do finally get to me, they will be able to fix that too.

Don't even bother with "chat" - in my experience, although always polite, they have as much knowledge about Etsy and running a shop as a boiled turnip.

Seller support seems to be the biggest issue that Etsy needs to work on.  (Well that and putting so many shops on long reserve holds).  Getting a hold of someone for help seems way too difficult
