Does anyone know how to opt out of Etsy's A.I. writing assistant when sending messages? It just started for me today. I start writing a reply message and the A.I. assistant takes over and re-writes it for me and there isn't a place to opt out. I try and re-write it and it takes over again and even adds a bunch of exclamation points at the end of the sentences. Very annoying.
I haven't had to deal with it yet, and I certainly don't want to. What the heck is Etsy trying to prove with this AI message stuff? Does it think we are all stupid and can't compose a message to our customers?? I take it as a total insult to sellers, as well as unfair to buyers who may get totally wrong information! If some sellers want to use it, that is fine. But it should be optional, not automatic.
@JoeBlake - As to your question...no idea how to get out of it. Hopefully someone who has experienced it will come along and help you : )
Fewer exclamation points, please! Probably the most overused punctuation mark.
Not everything deserves that level of writer excitement, emphasis, or enthusiasm.
AI is notorious for excessive exclamation marks, unless properly trained and instructed.
