Dispatching Issue with tracking internally within France

We have had an issue when dispatching items within France with Tracking. "La Poste" is pre populated as our sender and after entering the tracking number Etsy responds with " This is not a Valid  FedEx Number" .  What's FedEx got to do with "La Poste" I ask myself?

The answer we have found is by entering "other" in the sender field and manually entering"la Poste" in a sub field then the tracking number and depatching works.  So in summary if you are a supplier in France and dispatch internally within France you need to use the "other" field instead of the pre populated field.  Could Etsy please look at this anomaly ?
