Hello!
I'm a watercolor artist who just started a new Etsy Shop and I'm running a Grand Opening Sale offering a 20% discount on everything. A customer messaged me wondering why the discount wasn't applied when she checked out. I looked at the stats, and she's correct. So, how can I get the customer her rightful discount? She's already ordered and paid for the artwork. I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks so much!

To give the customer her discount, you can do a partial refund of the appropriate amount. When you look at the actual listing (what the buyer sees) on Etsy, does it show that it is on sale?
There are a few items not showing the sale. I find the easiest way to put everything on sale is to choose the percent off and then choose “order total” under “order minimum” and enter a low amount like $1. Then you don’t need to select the listings and potentially miss some.
Hopefully someone else will chime in if there’s an easier way.
Also, if you put up a new listing during a sale, it may or may not be included in the sale depending on how you set up the sale initially.
Ah, that makes sense...but I think some of the items were there from the beginning of the sale. I didn't even notice that the discount wasn't showing up on several. Thanks for responding!
