Digital items with smooth shipping?

Hello i lost my star seller badge but i still have 100% on quick replies & average 4.9 rating. I only sell digital references and products, i cant see how to improve the smooth shipping to earn this badge again? Thank you /Mårten

We've double-checked the orders that have affected your Star seller previously, and it seems that the listings that your buyer purchased were set as custom physical listings. As of the moment, custom/private listings are intended for physical listings. Digital items that are created as physical items will still require tracking or a shipping label purchased on Etsy because they are listed as physical items.

We encourage you to list them as digital items if they’re truly digital moving forward. Unfortunately, those past orders will be considered physical items that require on-time shipping & tracking. Moving forward, once you list digital download items as digital they will not be counted towards your shipping stat in the Star Seller dashboard at all.

If you're offering a custom digital listing, you're welcome to create a made-to-order digital listing instead. For more information about this, you can visit this Help Center.

Hi, it would probably be helpful if you included at least 1 downloadable file with each digital item. For example, a thank you file or printing instructions. I read that somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's the solution.

Probably a file must be available for download from Etsy. Perhaps Etsy recognizes the automated processes as perfect shipping.

I know many shops that only offer digital items and still have the starseller. I'm also very interested in what the actual problem solving will be.
