I have had yet another convo from yet another customer stating that the email with download link for purchased digital products
has failed to be emailed to her by Brooklyn.
She bought three digital download sheets and Etsy allegedly failed to email her the download link...
The one constant in all these continuing queries is that all purchasers are using the apple email privacy app "privaterelayDOTappleidDOTcom"
I know that nobody of authority from Brooklyn will ever read this post
so can any of my other fellow digital sellers confirm to me that it is the apple app that is causing the problem or is there another reason ?
At the mo' I have to step-by-step explain to them how to retrieve from the Your Account dropdown menu or wait for the customer to get back to me with an unscrambled version of their email addy so I can forward copies there...

It happens to me too, and I agree it's a pain in the rear.
I have this problem many times as well!
I encourage you both to chat with Etsy and ask to chat with a supervisor so they see that this really is an issue. I did this yesterday and sent a few screenshots of examples of the message from customer not understanding why they didn't get the download as well as a screenshot of the jumbled up email address that gets produced when they sign in using the Apple ID. I think if they hear from multiple sellers then hopefully they will solve this issue!
Just between you and me, I don't think that Brooklyn actually cares.....
Just sayin'.

No change.
Why am I not surprised ?
no change, because Apple doesn't want to change, and continues to block
