Did Etsy Break?

Good morning!

Did something happen/change to Etsy in the past 24hrs?  Other discussion boards indicate that people are having issues logging in, checking out, etc.  and Down Detector had quite a few posts yesterday indicating issues. But I'm curious if anyone else experienced issues first hand.   My own shop had only a handful of views yesterday and zero sales and no messages.  The day before, 8 sales/285 views, Tuesday: 10 sales 365 views.  I haven't had a 24hour period like this in years.    It's very unusual for my shop.  Of course when this happens, I begin to imagine the impending collapse of my business, so to ease my mind I just wanted to reach out.  Thanks!

Some are reporting the checkout isn’t working…..error message comes up…..

others have report other issues……there are always issues…..long time sellers getting the lights turned off on their shops etc…..I wouldn’t worry about 1 slow day...

I went to look at a shop I like late Wednesday night and although I found the shop link it led to an oops not here screen, and when I clicked a listing, that also didn't connect, and it only loaded the listing page a few minutes later when I tried again.  It's a big shop and I couldn't get into it at all until the 3rd or 4th try.

I was being forced through "are you a robot" at sign in but I figured that might have been me clearing my cache and cookies yesterday. I had sales in all shops so if something is up it is probably sporadic not site wide.

I've been getting steady sales yesterday and today.  Haven't heard of any issues from the buyers.

I haven’t noticed anything myself, but I did have a buyer message me asking if their order went through. It did, but they had no indication via order confirmation page or email.

Although my Etsy shop doesn't get an abundance of views per day and sales are always few & far between, this is the second day this week where my shop has been at 0 views /0 visits for more than 14 hours...

My Dashboard says "100 views, 100 views, 100 views, 100 views" across the board. Very strange!!! Anyone else??

Nevervmind, I am just not patient enough to see something else is going on. LOL

It’s the about the weekend. Apparently there are usually a few glitches around the weekend, but I don’t think I’m caught up in any this time, fortunately. One time I was and couldn’t deactivate or delete listings that had sold elsewhere and that was a bit of a stressful couple days! Often Etsy staff comes back in Monday and fixes things. I guess they have weekends off, though I don’t know if that starts Friday or not.

Very slow today. Visits are down on only 2 sales ( usually average 20+)
